I’ll review and rewrite the copy across up to 3 existing website pages, helping you communicate your business, services and value more clearly.

This service focuses on the words on your website. I won’t make changes to your website’s layout, design or functionality.

A page is considered 1 standard website page containing up to approximately 750 words. Longer pages or pages requiring substantial new research may need to be quoted separately.

How it works

1. Complete the website copy questionnaire and identify the pages you would like refreshed.

2. Provide access to your existing website and any relevant business or brand information.

3. I’ll review your current copy and rewrite the selected pages.

4. You’ll receive the draft copy in an editable document.

5. You can provide 1 consolidated round of feedback.

6. I’ll make the agreed revisions and supply your final copy.

Before we begin

You’ll need to provide:

• Links to the website pages being refreshed

• Information about your business, services and audience

• Your preferred tone of voice

• Any important wording, claims or details that must be retained

• Examples of websites or writing styles you like

• Any keywords you would naturally like incorporated

• Your completed business plan or equivalent background information, where available

The more complete and accurate the information you provide, the more effectively I can write copy that reflects your business.

What isn’t included

• Uploading or formatting the copy on your website

• Changes to your website design or layout

• Creating new website pages

• Technical website support or repairs

• Plugin, domain or hosting support

• Keyword research or a full SEO strategy

• Legal, medical, financial or other specialist advice

• Professional photography or image sourcing

If you would like the wording, imagery and layout of 1 page refreshed directly within your existing Squarespace website, the Website page refresh may be a better fit.

Turnaround

Please allow approximately 2 weeks from the next business day after your questionnaire, required information and deposit have been received.

Turnaround may vary depending on the length and complexity of your existing copy. Any changes to the scope or delays in providing information or feedback may extend the timeframe.

Important information

This service refreshes the copy on existing website pages. It doesn’t include writing for an entirely new website or implementing the copy on your website.

Your included revision round must be provided as 1 consolidated list of feedback within 7 days of receiving your draft. Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope will incur an additional fee.

You are responsible for confirming that all business information, prices, service details, claims and other factual information are accurate before approving the final copy.

Final copy will be supplied once the full balance has been paid.
